If spare time is something you frequently seem to come across, then my blog may be just the thing you need!

This week's spare time idea comes from the mountains. Hiking is a huge draw to New Hampshire and the White Mountains. About a 20 minute drive through Squam Lake area and down route 113 is the entrance to the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail. Around a 2 mile hike, Rattlesnake is perfect for a sunny day this Fall and takes any where between an hour or two depending on hiking pace and time spent up at the summit. For such a short, relateivly easy hike, the summit of Rattlesnake is very rewarding. With beautiful views of Squam Lake you may feel like you could jump off the summit and into the lake. Whether you are hiking in the winter or the summer, snow or green leaves, Rattlesnake is a very worth while hike and an exellent spare time filler for those lazy Saturdays at Plymouth State.
