Fill Up All That Spare Time

This week's spare time filler idea happens right here at Plymouth State. Today, Wednesday the 22nd, at 3:30 pm the Womens Tennis team has a match againsts Vermont's Castleton State. The Plymouth ladies have been playing well this year with a record for far of 3-1 and a Conference record of 2-1. Loosing only so far to Umass Dartmouth last week, the Panthers will be looking for win today. Plymouth, a match or so ago, pushed past Endicott College to win 8-1. Plymouth State hasn't been too strong for Endicott since 2004, needless to say this was a match to remember, for both teams. All three doubles teams (1. Sara Burke & Molly Heartfield 2. Rachel Figura & Lydia Smith 3. Laura Donovan & Elizabeth Silsby) brought home the win with scores of 8-5, 8-3 and 8-3. The solo victory for the Endicott Gulls was taken by no. 1 Kate Cioffi. Our Panthers fought to bring home every other singles victory. The women of the our tennis team are hoping to go a long ways in conference play this year and our support is necessary! Grab and on the go, a few friends and head down to the PE center to see some Panther tennis domination!
