It's game time this week! Tuesday the 26th, 7:30 pm tip off: season opener Boston Celtics versus Miami Heat. This game should be a good one, definitely worth watching more than just the highlights on sports center tomorrow morning. The hype reaching from fans in Boston all the way down to fans in Miami is one of a kind. Reading pregame reports tells a different story. Boston baller Paul Pierce said "it means more to the media and the fans than to us." Coach Doc Rivers was singing a tune more my style, "everybody is excited about it. Our guys try to downplay it until you walk through the locker room and you can hear them talking about it. And the film is on all day watching Miami.” With these two teams going head to head, they're will be an awful lot of skill out on one court. In the past three years the Celtics defense has been better than impressive, however the Dwanye Wade-Lebron James has the potential to put up some serious numbers. Although this is early season play and it may not matter, this is the game to watch.
I like the concept of this blog a lot. I think it is good for people to take a moment to step away from their hectic lives and just breathe a little bite. Everyone always says there is nothing to do around here you have proven them wrong. Your ideas are also cost effective. Also your suggestions are not bias to physical activity or just relaxing. You should incorporate some type of video or sound bite for a suggestion. Or even direct us to that activities website. Do you have more ideas for on campus activities?
ReplyDeleteHey lacey, so far you have a really nice blog. I really like the background image it works. I like your blog topic really intriguing. A few things maybe that you'd like to do,
ReplyDelete1. Maybe some more widgets such as a slideshow of pictures from places you've been or things to do.
2. I was thinking about maybe giving out time frames of about how long these things take to do so people will know how much time they will need to bugdet.
3. maybe inform people where they can go to get more information about these places
keep up the good work!!
I think this blog is really well written and it has a great background so my criticism is mostly me nitpicking a bit.
ReplyDelete1. Having a few things on the side bar such as your favorite links, pictures, or whatever you choose would be a good add-on.
2. I like the quotes you used about the players before the Heat- Celtics game, having a post about the results and quotes from after the game I think would be cool.
3. The background is a little blurry, try finding a picture similar to this one because I do like the idea of it.
Great blog idea, really original, i like that. A couple things
ReplyDelete1. Changing the top writing color that states what your blog is about, it sort of dissapears when the clouds go over it.
2. Background picture is blurry, i dont mind it but maybe a different picture would help.
3. More links and maybe videos pertaining to your blog.
